IPA SCOTLAND

Welcome to the home of the IPA in Scotland. This site will keep members informed of upcoming events in Scotland as well as news of events held both at home and abroad. It is also hoped to encourage new members to join this wonderful Association, which is the largest Police Association in the World. We currently have about 1,000 members in Scotland and 10,000 members in the UK. Details on how to join are found here.

Membership of the IPA is open to serving and retired Police Officers, serving and retired Special Constables, Scenes of Crime Officers and Investigative staff for a small annual fee. The current joining fee is £35 with an annual membership fee of £28 thereafter.

The IPA offers its members opportunities for social and professional exchanges, a wide range of choices of IPA accommodation throughout the world, but most of all the friendship of all other members worldwide. Our motto is "Servo Per Amikeco" which is Esperanto for "Service through Friendship". Once you meet a new friend through the IPA they will undoubtedly be a friend for life.
